"Young Child" came to me pretty quickly and I remember wondering why a guy with no kids might write a lullaby. With the help of Dianna Rice on piano, I put together this quick demo. A few years later, I shopped the song to Disney Records (their nondisclosure form was 40 pages long) and ultimately, Harold Kleinert at Disney decided to "pass". I still like the song when I hear it today.
